Margaret Alice (Page) Lola, 83, of Medway, died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at her home. She was the wife of Joseph M. Lola who died in 2002.
Born in England on April 19, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Walter J. and Florence A. (Wildman) Page. Mrs. Lola was a resident of Medway for the past 60 years.
She attended Leytan School of Art in England and worked at the Title Redemption Commission in England doing map drawings from very large old maps. Before her retirement, she worked at Corning Glass Works in Medfield for 15 years and had also worked at Herman Shoe Co. in Millis for many years.
She enjoyed painting and gardening and loved her animals, especially her beloved cats.
She is survived by two daughters, Audrey McRury of Medway and Kathleen Lockwood of Kingston, a son, Paul Lola of Franklin and six grandchildren, Ian and Stuart McRury of Medway, Paul Montani and Adam Lola, both of Franklin and James and John Lockwood, both of Kingston.
She was a sister of the late Audrey Page.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Wednesday, January 3 at 11 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 14 School Street in Medway.
