PALMER__ Theresa “Terry” Roy of Palmer formerly of Worcester passed away on Saturday, December 23, in Autumn Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Worcester surrounded by her husband and family. She is survived by her husband of ten years, George Roy. She also leaves two sons, Andrew J. Loconto, Jr., of Charlton and Christopher J. Loconto of Worcester; three daughters, Erica L. Loconto of Auburn, Colleen M. Waters of Lowell and Sasha K. Waters of Worcester; a grandson, Peter Provencher, Jr. and her father Anthony G. Venincasa of Worcester and siblings; John, Ellen Judith and Carmela. She is predeceased by her mother, Marie Venincasa.
Mrs. Roy lived in Worcester for many years prior to moving to Palmer two years ago. She was a teacher having worked in the Worcester School System. Terry attended Holy Name Central Catholic High School and later graduated from Worcester State College. She had many interests among them, playing the piano, singing and collecting dolls and antiques.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 27 from DIRSA MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 11:00 am in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday, from 8:30 to10:30 am.
