SPENCER; Doris M. (Benoit) Thomson,85, formerly of 31 Church St., died Wednesday, Dec. 20 at Life Care Center in Auburn.
She was the wife of Kenneth S. Thomson, who died in 1980.
She leaves two daughters Jean M. Klimek and her husband Thomas of Oak Hill, Va. and Judith A. Leone and her husband Nino of Port Charlotte, Fl., three grandsons Christopher Klimek of Washington, DC., Steven Klimek of Oak Hill and Kenneth Cetrone of Spencer.
Mrs. Thomson was a bookkeeper for many years for L.D. Bemis Co. in Spencer before retiring in 1976. She graduated from David Prouty High School.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Spencer Golden Age Club and A.A.R.P.- Spencer Chapter.
Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Henry and Leah (Gaudette) Benoit.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Jan., 2, 2007 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Jan. 1 from 4 to 6p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the Spencer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 147, Spencer,01562 or Life Care Center Patient Activity Fund, 14 Masonic Circle, Auburn, Ma. 01501.
