Obituary

WORCESTER-Paul H. Lavallee, 79, of 39 First Street formerly of Sutton died Saturday, October 5th at home after an illness. His wife, Eleanor M. (Grant) Lavallee died in 1995. He leaves 3 sons, Michael F. Lavallee of Sutton, David A. Lavallee of Methuen and Philip J. Lavallee of Gainsville, GA; a daughter, Paula E. Shea of East Corinth, VT; 10 grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.

He was born in Worcester the son of Adolph and Caroline (Larivee) Lavallee. He graduated from South High School. He obtained an associate degree in engineering from Worcester Junior College. Mr. Lavallee was a Navy Sea Bee veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific and the Panama Canal. He was a union carpenter for over 50 years, retiring in 1988. He was a life time member of the Worcester Carpenter’s Union Local #107 a member of St. John’s Church, and a member of the American Legion Post #435. He enjoyed traveling.

The funeral will be Tuesday, October 8th, from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue (oconnorbrothers.com), with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, October 7th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
