Roy Lee Heflin, Sr., 74, of Fitzgerald died Friday, December 22 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 4 P.M., Sunday, December 24, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with Rev. C.A. Hulett officiating. Interment will follow in Old Valley Grove Cemetery, Irwin County. Visitation will be held from 7 until 9 Saturday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Heflin was born July 12, 1932, in Willacoochee to the late Jerry and Minnie Lee Alexander Heflin. He lived in the community for the past 19 years from Ocilla. Mr. Heflin was a farmer and a former employee of Hunter Motor Company.
Mr. Heflin is survived by his wife: Peggy Stone Heflin of Fitzgerald; sons: Bobby Heflin of Fitzgerald and Roy Lee Heflin, Jr., of Cairo; daughter: Anna Sue Reeves of Cleveland and 11 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren.
