Loving sister of Catherine and Hugh Dawson of Medford, Ellen McCarthy of West Roxbury, John and Marie McCarthy of Medford, James and Judy McCarthy of Washington, D.C., Charles and Theresa McCarthy of Roslindale, and Gerard and Theresa McCarthy of Dorchester. Sister in law of Fr. John Duffy, C.S.P., Paulist Fathers. Survived by her godson James Dawson and several other nieces and nephews. Special lifelong friend of Theresa McCann and her husband Stephen and Mary Mayer and her husband Robert. Fondly remembered by her many friends especially by the “train ladies”. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury on Saturday December 23, 2006 at 8:45 am followed by a funeral mass in Mission Church, 1545 Tremont St., Mission Hill at 10:00 am.
