Marguerite LaBonte
MANCHESTER, NH- Marguerite LaBonte, 97, died December 16, 2006 at the Catholic Medical Center following a period of declining health.
She was born in Cambridge, MA on June 8, 1909 the daughter of Dr. J .Albert and Marguerite (McKenzie) LaBonte. She was educated in the Watertown school system, and graduated High School in 1927.
She was employed by the John-Hancock Insurance Company, she worked in the actuarial department for 43 years before retiring in 1973.
Her hobbies included taking educational classes, theatre, travel, concerts, oil painting and her greatest pleasure reading. She enjoyed writing letters to friends abroad as well as Canada and the U.S.
In Her Life: She leaves a brother J. Gordon LaBonte, a sister in law Rita LaBonte, both of Manchester, NH, one nephew Gordon J. LaBonte of Rye NH, one grand nephew Jay G. LaBonte, of Washington DC, and several cousins.
There are no calling hours.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 26th at 10 am in St Anthony Church Manchester NH.
