Marguerite “Connie” (Timmins) Callinan of Wareham, formerly of Medford, peacefully passed away on December 16th, 2006 after a brief stay at the Cape Cod Nursing Home in Buzzards Bay. She was the wife of the late William Callinan II and the devoted mother of Richard Callinan of Bridgewater and the late William Callinan III. Connie was born in Cambridge on January 26th, 1918. She enjoyed many of her younger years in Arlington where she graduated from high school as well as Littleton where she made many close friends. Connie had a particular interest in music and the arts. During World War II and subsequent years, Connie worked for Dewey and Almy (later known as the W.R. Grace Company) in Cambridge. She later attained her license as a real estate broker and served many of the communities north of Boston. Connies joy of being with people eventually led her to becoming the president of the Medford Women’s Club. Those who know Connie will never forget her wit, charm and perseverance. Funeral services from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home on Thursday Dec. 21st at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at the Church of St. Raphael in Medford at 10 AM. Relatives & friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
