Kathleen F. Lydon, a 15 year resident of Bridgewater, died on Thursday at the New England Medical Center in Boston. She was 70.
Born & raised in Brockton, a daughter of the late Michael & Kathleen (Quill) Riordan, she was a 1954 graduate of Brockton High School.
She also attended Stonehill College in Easton. She was a Teacher at Blue Hills Regional Vocational School, where she taught many subjects, for 10 years, retiring in 1990.
She lived in Randolph for many years before moving to Bridgewater. She enjoyed reading & spending time with her grandchildren.
She was the Beloved wife of Edward D. Lydon. Loving mother of Marybeth Norman & her husband Maroon of Middleboro, & Ellen McInnis & her husband Gregory of Easton. Sister of John Riordan of Dennis, Mary Domingos of Easton & the late Brendan Riordan. Also survived by her grandchildren, Mary, Shelly, Maggie, Bobby, Remy, & Charlie.
Funeral from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (RT 18) Bridgewater on Tuesday at 8:15Am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church Bridgewater at 9:00Am. Burial will be in St, Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Monday from 4-8Pm.
