John L. Biddle, a 6 month resident of Somerset, formerly of Bridgewater, died on Wednesday at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 59.
Born in Dover, Delaware, he was raised in Smyrna, DE. He was a graduate of John Bassett Moore High School in Smyrna.
He attended the Berkeley School of Music.
He served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, & was in the Navy Band. He lived in Bridgewater for 22 years before moving to Somerset.
He was self employed motorcycle mechanic for many years in Bridgewater. He was also the former owner of North East Anglers in East Bridgewater.
He enjoyed boating, model trains, the outdoors, & music.
He was the Beloved husband of Shirley (Pase) Biddle. Son of Ralph Biddle of Smyrna, Delaware & the late Betty Louise (Clough).
A Funeral service will be held on Saturday in the Prophett Funeral Home 98 Bedford ST. (RT 18) at 10:00Am. Visiting hours are omitted. Burial will be in Smyrna, Delaware.
