WORCESTER-Judith L. (Raymond) Day, 65, of 102 Epworth Street, died Friday, December 15th, in her home. She leaves her husband of 45 years, Roy W. Day, Sr.; 2 sons, Roy W. Day Jr. of Orange City, FL and George R. Day and his wife Sandra of Bangor, ME; 2 daughters, Sandra R. Bourque and her husband Joseph of Worcester, and Kellie A. Root and her husband Kenneth of Madisonville, KY; a sister, Beverly A. Jackson and her husband Richard of Worcester; 5 grandchildren, Kerri, Tanna, Alex, Nicole and Luke; 5 nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of George F. and Ruth A. (Powers) Raymond and graduated from Commerce High School. Mrs. Day was a ticketer for 22 years at T.J. Maxx and was still working at the time of her death. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and was an avid Bingo player.
The funeral is Tuesday, December 19th, from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Cambridge Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday, December 18th, in the funeral home.
