Herman Maniff, a longtime resident of Revere, died suddenly on December 11, 2006 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital. He was 86 years old.
Born in Revere, the son of the late Morris & Ida (Malchman) Maniff, he was raised and educated in Revere where he graduated from high school. Herman was employed as a salesman in the retail industry for the majority of his working years. He was also very active in numerous charitable & civic organizations.
Herman is survived by his brother, Shephard Maniff of Delray Beach, FL & numerous nieces & nephews. He was the brother of the late Albert Maniff & Lillian Crockett.
Graveside funeral services were held on Friday, December 15, 2006 at 12:00 Noon in the Tifereth Israel of Revere Cemetery in Everett. Rabbi Abraham Teitel officiated. Those wishing to remember Herman may do so through memorial donations to a charity of one’s own choosing.
