Marjorie L. (Downey) Meloy, 84, of Windham, NH died Thursday morning at her home. She had lived in Windham for 21 years, previously living in Bedford, MA and Osterville, MA.
Marjorie was born in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Agnew) & John Downey. She graduated from Mount St. Joseph Academy in Dorchester, MA and Regis College in Weston, MA. Marjorie had worked as a Service Representative for New England Telephone. She was a member of the Pioneers of America, St. Michael’s Church in Bedford and St. Matthew’s Church in Windham, NH. Marjorie loved the beach and loved to dance.
She was the widower of Frederick F. Meloy.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 3-7PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9:30 AM at St. Matthew’s Church in Windham, NH. Burial will be in Mosswood Cemetery, Cotuit, MA.
