Ruth M. (Shaughnessy) Calandriello, 77, a resident of Atkinson, NH for 12 years, died Sunday morning (December 10) at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
She was born in Lowell on Sept 28, 1929, daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Shaughnessy. She attended Lowell schools.
Before retiring, Mrs. Calandriello was an executive secretary at Raytheon Corporation, Andover, MA, for 32 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Calandriello of Atkinson, NH; daughter, Donna Hughes, of Methuen, MA, grandsons, Michael Hughes of Windham, NH and David Hughes of Derry, NH; stepson, James Calandriello and his wife Eileen and children, Matthew and Sophia of Atkinson, NH, stepdaughter, Cathy Calandriello of Dover, NH.
She is also survived by her brothers, John Shaughnessy and his wife Diane of Westford, MA, Dennis Pelletier and his wife Mary of Plymouth, MA; her sister, Carol Buckley and her husband Fred of Clearwater, FL; her sister-in-law, Joan Shaughnessy of Clearwater, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition she is the sister of the late Robert Shaughnessy of Littleton, MA.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA.
Furneral services with be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Pollard Funeral Home.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
