Creeden of Evans, GA formerly of Brockton September 29, 2002 Daniel A. Creeden 60 years. Son of Geraldine E. (Guerin) Creeden of Brockton and the late A. Leo Creeden. Brother of Raymond J. Creeden and his wife Joan of Brockton and the late Diane McClelland, Frederick G. and John F. Creeden. Grandson of the late Brockton Police Capt. and Mrs. Daniel T. Guerin and Brockton Supt. of Highways and Mrs. Arthur J. Creeden.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 AM. Burial with military honors in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Donations in Dan’s memory may be made to the Eastern Paralyzed Veterans Association 1 Mill Brook Rd. Wilton, NH 03086

Obituary

Mr. Creeden died Sunday evening in the Augusta, Georgia VA Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Brockton son Geraldine E. (Guerin) Creeden and the late A. Leo Creeden. He was raised and educated in West Springfield and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Westfield, Mass. and the American International College in Springfield. He graduated in 1967 from Officers Candidate School, Fort Benning, GA and served in the US Army for 16 years. He retired from the military in1977 with the rank of Captain. During his tour in Viet Nam he received the Bronze Star.

For the past 20 years Mr. Creeden has been a resident of Evans, Georgia.In 1981 Mr. Creeden received an RN degree in Georgia. For the past 19 years he has worked in ICU at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia.Mr. Creeden was an avid reader and was a member of Pointe South Golf Club in Georgia.

In addition to his mother and brother he is survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins
