The beloved wife of 51 years to Thomas H. Moar, Sr. of North Quincy. Loving mother of Diane Moar of Randolph, Thomas H. Moar, Jr. of N. Quincy, Stephen Moar and his wife Dorothy of Hanover amd Kathleen Moar of Toms River, NJ. Joan was the devoted Grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Wednesday at 9 AM.
Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10:00 AM.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4- 8 PM.
Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.

Joan was born in Boston and grew up in Dorchester. She married Thomas H. Moar in 1955. Joan worked as a book keeper for Lamberts Fruit in Dorchester for 20 years, retiring back in 1996. Joan was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting (making blankets for all her family).
