Ronald J. Beaulieu, 68, of Rochester died December 9, 2006 at home after a brief illness.
He was the husband of Betty E. (King) Beaulieu and the late Janice (Haworth) Beaulieu.
Born in Fairhaven, the son of Louis "Andy" Beaulieu of New Bedford and the late Geraldine (Pauline) Beaulieu, he lived in Rochester most of his life.
Mr. Beaulieu was the proprietor of Beaulieu's Burner Service for many years until his retirement.
He enjoyed driving and working on his hot rod cars and motorcycles. Mr. Beaulieu was an avid NASCAR fan and also a participant of auto racing throughout New England.
Survivors include his wife; his son, Michael H. Beaulieu of Wareham, Betty's children, Wayne A. Sherman of Lake Worth, FL, Gary R. Sherman of Rochester and Lynne E. Frade of Marion; 2 brothers, Henry Beaulieu of Acushnet and John Beaulieu of New Bedford; 11 grandchildren, Heather, Jesse, Meredith, Andrew, Ryan, Zac, Max, Riley, Joey, Ben and Haley; several nieces and nephews.
He was the grandfather of the late Wayne Sherman.
His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 16th at 9:30 AM in the First Congregational Church at Rochester Center followed by burial at the North Rochester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
