LOWELL—Joan A. (Blanchard) Popoloski, 68 years old, a resident of Lowell, died early Saturday morning at Saints Medical Center, in Lowell.
She was born in Boston, on May 30, 1938, a daughter of the late Robert L. and Elizabeth (Hammond) Blanchard. She was educated in the Wilmington Public Schools.
For over 20 years, Mrs. Popoloski had been employed as an Electronics Assembler by the Raytheon Corporation, in Waltham.
Surviving her are a beloved daughter: Elizabeth J. Popoloski, of Lowell; her brothers and sisters and their spouses: Judith L. and Robert Brady, of Woburn; Robert E. and Marie Blanchard, of Falmouth; Janice E. Regan, and Jose Gonzalez, of Woburn; Joyce E. and Gerald Goodbury, of Farmington, NH; and Paul L. and Brenda Blanchard, of Lee, NH; also several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Jean Swain, who died in 1969.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 PM on Tuesday, December 12th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith St., (Rte. 38). Her funeral service will held Wednesday, December 13th, at 1 PM the funeral home. Burial in Westlawn Cemetery.
