
Patricia “Pat” A. Hicks, 46, a lifelong resident of Chester, NH, died unexpectedly Saturday, December 9, 2006 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. Miss Hicks was born in Manchester, NH on June 30, 1960, a daughter of Clifford A. and Joan A. (Berry) Hicks. She graduated from Pinkerton Academy in Derry, Class of 1978. For the past four years she had worked for Coldwell Bankers as a lead research assistant and had obtained her Real Estate Brokers License while working there. Pat had also worked in the research department for Amoskeag Bank and Citizen’s Bank in Manchester and Hooksett. She was the Clerk of the Chester Congregational Baptist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors and worked with conservation groups like Tree City. Pat had an interest in art and enjoyed drawing. She also enjoyed classic TV programs. She was a very generous woman who was a wonderful caregiver to her family and household.
She is survived by her parents, Clifford A. and Joan A. (Berry) Hicks of Chester, a sister, Pamela Hicks of Exeter, NH, a brother, James Berry and his wife Leah of Londonderry, NH, and by her niece and nephew, Elise and Nick Berry, both of Londonderry, whom she absolutely adored. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours were held Thursday, December 14, 2006 from 4-8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Friday at 10:00AM in the Chester Congregational Baptist Church, 4 Chester St., Chester. The burial followed in Great Hill Cemetery, Chester.
