Obituary

Methuen, MA – Edna (Tamulonis) Bell, 97, died Monday December 4, 2006 at the Lowell General Hospital.
Born in Nashua Edna had resided in Methuen since 1929.

Prior to its closing was a former communicant of Saint Francis Church in Lawrence, and served as the Lithuanian womens citizens club secretary for 20 years.
Edna had been a self-employed dress maker /dba/ Edna Bells Dress making shop located on Broadway in Lawrence for 50 years.

Mrs. Bell was the widow of Peter Bell, and is survived by one son Peter E. & his wife Barbara A. Bell of Dracut, one brother Anthony Tamulonis of Lithuania, 2 grandaughters Janet Bell of Dracut, and Judith & her husband Philip Shepard of Swanzey, NH 3 greatgrandchildren Justin and Jared Thibault of Dracut, and Alexis Shepard of Swanzey, NH, and 1 greatgreatgrandchild Tai Thibault of Dracut, MA.
A funeral mass will take place on Saturday at 10 o’clock in Saint Lucy’s Church in Methuen with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Friends may call on Friday from 5-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
