Roy Allen "Bull" Blount, 65, of Enigma, died Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. John S. Gibbs, Sr. will officiate with a private burial to follow at a later date. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 9, 2006, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Blount was born on November 7, 1941 in Colquitt County and was the son of George L. Blount, deceased, and Myrtle Camp Blount of Butler. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Blount and Shorty Blount. He was a retired electrician and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Blount is survived by two sisters, Judy Spivey of Rentz and Nell Peavy of Fort Valley.
