WORCESTER-Carol V. (LaPlume) Ruttencutter, 66, of Worcester, died Wednesday, December 6th in her home after a short illness. Her husband, Paul N. Ruttencutter, Sr., died in 1992. She is survived by a son, Paul N. Ruttencutter, Jr. and his wife Kelly Ruttencutter of Worcester, 3 daughters, Susan M. wife of Mark Roe and Flora L. wife of Gregory Bensie, all of Brilliant, OH and Paula Ruttencutter of Worcester, her mother, Emma (Rossetti) LaPlume of Worcester, a brother, Alexis LaPlume of Worcester, 3 sisters, Rose Hudson, Geraldine Stuart and Susan Miller all of Worcester, 6 grandchildren, Tabitha, Amber, Amanda and Seth Ruttencutter, Gregory Bensie, Jr. and Kayla Ruttencutter and many nephews and nieces. Two sisters, Jeannette Burns and Shirley Denio predeceased her. She is also survived by her companion, Henry T. Veroneau.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Alexis LaPlume. Mrs. Ruttencutter was employed by Mayfield Plastics as an assembler and enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox.
The funeral is Saturday, December 9th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, December 8th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
