Mafalda R. “ Mal” Puleo, 76 of Somerville died Wednesday unexpectedly in the Brigham and Women's Hospital Boston, MA.
Born in Cambridge, she lived in Somerville since 1965 and was the daughter of the late Maria (Lanzillo) and Joseph Corriere. Mrs. Puleo was involved with St. Ann Church’s various clubs.
Beloved wife of Anthony Puleo. Devoted mother of Salvatore Puleo and his wife Deborah of Revere, Gail D'Ovidio and her husband of John of Medford. Loving grandmother of Christine Puleo. Sister of Jean Venti of Arlington, Alfred Corriere of Lynnfield, Carmella Corriere of North Carolina, and the late Anthony Carriere, Albina McLaughlin, Josephine Nabrynski and Salvatore Corriere.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
