TEWKSBURY - Paul F. Moran, age 84, a WW2 army Veteran and retired school custodian, died
Wednesday morning, Dec. 6, at the Wingate at Andover Nursing Care Center after a long period
of declining health. He was the husband of the late Agnes G. (Nawrocki)(Deming) Moran.
Born in Lowell, on Feb. 9, 1922, a son of the late Thomas H. and Mabel (Ouellette) Moran, he
was raised there, and graduated from Lowell High School. He lived in Westford, before moving
to Tewksbury in 1971.
During WWII, he served in the U.S. Army.
He began is career with Whrite Trucking Company, and later worked for Wang Laboratories and
I.T.E.K. He retired from the custodial department for the Tewksbury Public Schools.
He is survived by three daughters, Anne-Marie Deming and Eileen Larry both of Tewksbury,
Raphaela Deming of VT; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas L. Deming and his wife Diane
(Procopio) of CT; a brother, Frank Moran of FL; a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Ivan
Hodgdon of FL; nine grandchildren, Normand, and Paul Laurin, Richard, Brian, Stephen, David,
and Kathryn Larry, Thomas and Danielle Deming; eighteen great grandchildren, Jaime, Jessica,
Joshua, Jacob, Marc, Richard, Jonathan, Christopher, Anthony, Joseph, Miranda, Brian,
Christopher, Christina, Amanda, Tiffany, Elizabeth, Jayden ; his godchild, Patty Franco of OH;
and many nieces and nephews.
He was also brother of the late Thomas, Raymond, and Russell Moran.
His Funeral Service was held Saturday, Dec. 9, in the funeral home. Burial followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chelmsford.
