Antonio Forcucci, of Medford, died Tuesday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was 95.
Born and raised in Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and the late Filomena (D´Eramo) Forcucci. Antonio served in the Italian military. He moved his family to Canada in 1954 and then to Medford in 1969. Antonio worked as a machine operator at the former Schraffts candy factory in Charlestown. He retired in 1981.
He was the beloved husband of Annunziata (Gentile). He was a devoted father to Filomena Rhoufiry and her husband Driss of Medford. He was the dear brother of Maria DiPetrucci of Italy and the late Adelina Pietroleonardo, Cristina Gentile, Domenico Forcucci, Luigi Forcucci and Pia Grossi. He leaves many loving nieces and nephews. His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
