Ethel Partridge Folsom, of Boston and Rockport, died Monday evening at the North End Community Nursing Home, Boston. She was 100 years old.
Born in Worcester and raised in Woburn and Charlestown, she was the daughter of the late Henry and the late Agnes (Clark) Partridge.
A graduate of the Boston Teacher’s College, Ethel went on to earn a Master’s Degree at the University of Florida. A teacher and couselor in the Boston Public School system during her long career in education, Ethel lived in Rockport and Boston for many years.
The wife of the late Joseph Kirk Folsom, she is survived by her brother, Paul Partridge, Sr. of West Roxbury and many loving relatives and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be offered, Thursday at 9 AM in St. Mary Church, 55 Warren Street, Charlestown. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Brighton.
