Cyril C. Sullivan of Wellesley, formerly of Dedham, died December 3, 2006 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital, he was 74. He was the beloved husband of Dianne F. (Halpin) Sullivan for 45 years.
Mr. Sullivan was born in Weymouth and had lived in Wellesley for many years. He was a Korean War Veteran and worked as a HVAC Technician for Harvard University for 23 years. He was a member of the Canton American Legion Post #0024 and the Canton American Legion Band.
He was the devoted father of Carolyn S. Bektas and her husband Huseyin of Winchester and Anne-Marie S. Davies and her husband Timothy of Marlboro. He was the grandfather of Aaron U. Bektas and Evan Cyril Davies. He was the brother of Sister Therese of the Child Jesus Discalced Carmelite Nuns, Danvers, Barbara Gray of Leisure Woods, CA, Genevieve Olivier of Irvine, CA and the late John and James Sullivan, Patricia Sweeney and Mary Bedard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., Wellesley, on Thursday at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley Hills, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
