Obituary

Morris Graff, a resident of Revere, died on December 3, 2006 at the Jewish Rehabilitation Center in Swampscott. He was 95 years old.

Born in Boston, the son of the late Samuel & Sarah (Wolk) Graff, Morris was raised in Peabody & educated in the Peabody Public Schools. He worked as a foreman at the Kirstein Leather Tannery in Peabody for over 30 years. After leaving the Kirstein Company, Morris owned the Tailored Man Men’s Store in Downtown Peabody for a number of years prior to assisting his sons in their businesses, Hospital Service Technology of North Andover and Water Chemicals of Malden. He retired from Water Chemicals at the age of 92. An avid golfer, Morris was a former member of the Hillview Country Club in North Reading.

Husband of the late Mildred (Tuck) Graff, who died in 2003, Morris is survived by 2 sons, Alan Graff & his wife Irene of Revere and Warren Graff & his wife Sharon of Danvers; 1 daughter, Linda Hirsch & her husband Arnold of Holliston; 7 grandchildren, Wendy, Jeff, Andrew, Suzanne, Peter, Brian, & Eric; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Esther Saltzman of Danvers, Marion Bak of Windsor, CT, & the late Myer, Elliot, & Harry Graff.

Morris’s funeral will be held in the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave. (Cary Sq.) CHELSEA on Monday, December 4, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Rabbi Marc Baker will officiate. Burial will follow beside his beloved wife in the Agudas Shalom Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. Everett, MA. Memorial observance will be held at his late residence in Revere through Tuesday at sundown.
