Katherine T. “Kay” (Kazlauskas) Getch died on Friday December 1, 2006 at the Boston Center in Roslindale. She was 92 years old. Mrs. Getch worked as a teller for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles, retiring in the early 1980’s. She was a great cook and loved o bake. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her family.
The beloved wife of the late Charles J. Getch, she was the devoted and much loved mother of Patricia A. Getch of Plymouth, Judith G. Brodman and her husband Steven of Needham and Linda G. Dawson and her husband Allan of Federal Way, WA. Dear sister of the late Elizabeth Wolusky, Stella Yanovitch and Helen Garvey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Tuesday December 5 at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew Church at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-8 PM. Interment at New Calvary Cemetery.
