Murphy Francis D. 88,of Plymouth December 1, at Jordan Hospital. He leaves his wife of 60 years Sarah (Tavares) Murphy of Plymouth, his sons Francis D. Jr. and his wife Margaret of Plymouth, John W. and his wife Teresa of Frederick, MD. His daughter in-law Frances Moniz of Plymouth. He also leaves his brother John Murphy of Plymouth, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Father of the late Charles P. Moniz. A Funeral service will be held at the Plymouth United Methodist Church 29 Carver Rd. Plymouth, Wednesday December 6, at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. (Rte 3A) N. Plymouth Tuesday December 5, 4:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Parkinson Disease Association, 720 Harrison Ave. Boston, MA. 02111. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne, MA.
