Richard P. "Rich" Fleming, 62, of Londonderry, NH, died Thursday, November 30, 2006 surrounded by his family following a battle with multiple myeloma. Rich was born in Worcester, MA on October 19, 1944, a son of Marjorie (Perkins) Fleming and the late H. Joseph Fleming. He was a resident of Londonderry since 1973, formerly living in Worcester. Rich was a US Navy reservist. He loved astronomy and was a member of the NH Astronomical Society. He was also a member of the Scotch Malt Whiskey Society. Having loved sports, Rich was an avid New England Patriots fan.
In addition to his mother of Northboro, MA; he is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Keller) Fleming of Londonderry; four daughters, Sara Fleming of Manchester, NH, Emily Fleming of Brighton, MA, his twins: Hillary and Annie Keller, both of Londonderry; one son, Duncan Fleming of Londonderry; two grandchildren, Devyn Dorazio and Rohan Dorazio; his twin brother, Robert Fleming of Upton, MA; two sisters, Elaine Russo of Rutland, MA, and Paula Boule of Shrewsbury, MA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours were on Sunday, Dec. 3rd from 6 to 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Calling hours were also be held on Monday, Dec. 4th from 6 to 8pm in the Nordgren Funeral Home, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 5th at 10:00am in the Nordgren Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, MA.
