Bertha P. LeMire
Manchester, NH-Bertha (Perreault) LeMire at 91 years of age, peacefully went to better place on November 26, 2006 at Harborside Healthcare Center, Bedford, NH.
She was born in Fort Kent Maine on August 4, 1915, the daughter of Patrick and Adele
(Morin) Perreault.
She was the most gracious, loving, giving, fun-loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother to us all. She was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph “Rudy” LeMire in 1996.
She will greatly missed by her daughters and their spouses Claudette Meehan of Portland Me., Phyllis Cooper of Las Vegas, NV., Sharyn and Walter Warren of Belmont NH, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
Bertha was a very talented person who worked hard all her life. she enjoyed her years as a waitress at Howard Johnson’s on the Maine Turnpike, as well as a Hostess at Cascade Inn in Saco Me. and 25 diligent years at the Pepperell Mills in Biddeford, ME.
After her retirement she still worked part time. Her hobbies and passions were sewing, bingo and card playing, but most importantly, spending time with her family.
There are no calling hours.
Through her life she accumulated a great number of friends and will always be in our hearts forever.
Her family would like to invite all who knew Bertha, to attend a celebration of her life at St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford, ME at Noon, Saturday December 2, 2006.
