Richard A. Levesque, 65, of Wales Bridge Road, Loudon, NH died Saturday September 28, 2002 at the Hospice House, Concord. He was born in Manchester, NH on June 22, 1937, a son of the late Arthur A. and Gladys C. (Whittier) Levesque. He was a resident of Loudon for two years, formerly living in Sandown, NH. He was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, NH, Class of 1955. He was a life member of the Halcyon Club, Derry, and the Elks Lodge #146, Hooksett, NH. He was a benefit member of the F.O.E. Aerie #663 in Derry. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion Squad #31, Penacook, NH, the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1374, Concord, the Hampton Riverboat Club, Hampton, NH, the North Country ATV Club, N. Stratford, NH, and the Belknap ATV Family Adventures, Belmont, NH. He was predeceased by his wife Carmel P. (Provost) Levesque in March 2002.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Darren (Dianne G.) Silvey, Peoria, AZ, Mrs. Peter (Michele) Pilch, Hillsboro, NH, Mrs. Steve (Susane B.) Minshew, Bedford, NH, Mrs. Scott (Richl Ann) Perkins, Loudon, 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three brothers, Robert F. (wife Carol) Levesque, Rangeley, Maine, John W. (wife Linda) Levesque, S. Dansville, NY, Richard (wife Helaise) Thomas, Auburn, NH one sister, Mrs. John (Barbara) Joyce, Londonderry, NH, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 2nd at 10:00 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brown Rd., Manchester. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry on Tuesday, October 1st from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm. A gathering will be held immediately following the burial at the Halcyon Club, Central St., Derry.
