WORCESTER-Felix O. Lord, 98, of 300 Barber Avenue, died Sunday, November 26th in Holy Trinity Nursing Home. He is survived by several nephews and nieces. Eleven brothers and sisters predeceased him.
He was born in Lunenburg, VT, the son of George A. and Anna (Oliver) Lord and had lived with his sister, Beatrice and her husband Reinhold Anderson all his life. Mr. Lord was employed by Worcester Wire as a wire temperer for 32 years retiring in 1973. He was an U.S. Army veteran; and was awarded the Purple Heart during his service in WWII. Mr. Lord was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Auburn and enjoyed traveling and visiting with friends throughout the Untied States.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, January 6th at 8:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street, Auburn. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
