Bradley “Brad” A. Lake, 60, a longtime resident of Sandown, NH, died Sunday, November 26, 2006 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. Mr. Lake was born in East Derry, NH on September 13, 1946, a son of the late Albert C. and Grace (Parshley) Lake. He graduated from Pinkerton Academy in Derry, class of 1964. He attended Keene State College and graduated from UNH, Durham, NH in 1969. He served in the US Air Force from 1972 - 1980. Mr. Lake graduated from navigator's school and electronic warfare officer school from Mather Air Force Base in California in 1973. He received his master’s degree in 1979 from Northern Michigan University. Following his discharge he opened Heritage Stained Glass Studio in Manchester, NH, selling his business in 1999. Since then he has been developing his land in Sandown and enjoying his life. He enjoyed making maple syrup, nature, his apple orchard, golf, cribbage and cooking.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Ann (Donahue) Lake of Sandown, two sons, Matthew Lake and Nathan Lake, both of Sandown, a daughter, Sarah Lake of Dover, NH, a brother, Albert C. Lake, Jr. and his wife Marion of Sandown, a niece and a nephew.
There are no visiting hours. Following cremation a memorial service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2006 at 3:00pm in St. Anne's Parish, 26 Emerson Ave., Hampstead, NH. The burial will be in the New Town Cemetery, Rollinsford, NH.
