MILLBURY – Hal J. Henderson, 55, of 48 Oak Pond Avenue, died Friday, Nov. 24, after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 8 years, Paulette R. (Berthiaume) Henderson; a son, Frank Henderson of Webster; 2 daughters, Christine Czechowski and her husband Frank of Webster and Colleen Henderson of Worcester; a brother, William Henderson of Worcester; his twin sister, Helen “Penny” Lenehan of Webster; 4 grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
He was born in Akron, OH, the son of Carl W. and Helen M. (Baird) Henderson. He lived in Webster, Oxford, and Lakeland, FL, before moving to Millbury this year. He graduated from high school and attended trade school for 2 years.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Henderson was a welder at Letourneau Welding in Worcester in the 1980’s. He made wall plaques, clocks and bibles. He was familiarly known as “the Plaque Man.”
Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Friday, Dec. 1, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., Webster. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Members of the United States Marine Corps will participate.
