Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Colman Church at 9 AM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM.
Obituary
Mrs. Walsh died Friday morning at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Centerafter a brief illness. She was born in Brockton, daughter of the late George and Madeline (O’Connell) Gilbert and had been a resident of Brockton for most of her life.She was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1960 and she also attended LeBaron Beauty Academy.
Until her illness she had been a clerk in the gift shop of Brockton Hospital and she had also been a sales clerk at Ganleys and Kmart. Mrs. Walsh enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren and also loved dancing especially line dancing.Communicant of St.Colman Church
She is survived by her husband Thomas F. Walsh, a son Thomas F. Walsh, Jr.,o f Charlestown, two daughters Isabelle Johnston of Brockton and Maureen Spadea of Easton.
