Dorothy L. “Dolly” (Grici) Lamberto, 76, a lifelong resident of Franklin, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at her home. She was the wife of 55 years to Edward Lamberto.
Born in Franklin on August 18, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Carmelia (Grieco) Grici. Mrs. Lamberto graduated from Franklin High School and was a homemaker most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin and was a member of the Sons of Italy and AARP.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Dollene Lamberto of St. Paul, Minn., her son, David Lamberto and his wife, Doreen of Franklin, three sisters, Katherine Niedbala of Medway, Virginia Dellorco of Franklin and Fannie Pizzi of Franklin and her twin-brother, Donald Grici of Springfield.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, Tasha and Kevin Lamberto-Coryell and Elizabeth and Margaret Lamberto and several nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late Steven Lamberto and sister of the late Louis and Angelo “Herb” Grici.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Thursday, November 30 at 8 a.m. from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St., Franklin, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Franklin at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m.
