Joanne J. Lemire
Manchester– Joanne J. (Turcotte) Lemire , 70, died November 24, 2006 at Catholic Medical Center following a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on May 17, 1936 the daughter of Alberic and Yvonne (Rene) Turcotte, and had been a lifelong resident of the city.
She was a parishioner of Parish of the Transfiguration Church, a member of the Women’s Guild, the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Catholic Order of Foresters Local & State Legion of Honor. She was the President of 5 Brothers Realty and Co– Owner of Colonial Color LLC.
She was predeceased by her husband Armand R. Lemire on May 26, 2003.
In Her Life: She leaves 5 sons Michael Lemire, Dennis Lemire and his wife Maureen, David Lemire, Kevin Lemire and his wife Cristyn, all of Manchester, Peter J. Lemire Esq. of Charlestown Mass, 5 grandchildren Joshua Lemire of Manchester, Jeffrey Lemire of Goffstown, Meagen Lemire of Albuquerque N.M., Irene Lemire of Goffstown, and Danielle Lemire of Manchester.
She also leaves a brother Marc Turcotte, and 3 sisters Mrs. Arthur (Jeannine) Bernier, Mrs Richard (Diane) Lemay, and Collette Turcotte all of Manchester, as well as several nieces nephews and cousins.
Services: calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am in Parish of the Transfiguration Church, Kelley St. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
