WEST BOYLSTON__Adella A. Ceraska, 90, formerly of 58 East Mountain St., Worcester, died Friday, November 24, at Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, in West Boylston. She is survived by her two sisters, Virginia Fikoski of Worcester and Emily Witkus and her husband Charles of West Boylston. She also leaves three nephews; John Fikoski of Worcester, Stephen Witkus of Northbridge and Michael Witkus of DeWitt, MI., as well as great-nieces and a great-nephew. She was predeceased by a brother John A. Ceraska. Adella was born in Worcester, a daughter of Anthony J. and Agnes (Miliauskas) Ceraska and lived there most of her life.
Miss Ceraska worked as a payroll clerk at Wiley, Bickford, Sweet Co., and then for 26 years at Massachusetts Electric Co. before retiring in 1977. She graduated from the High School of Commerce. Adella was a member of St. Casimir Church, Worcester. She was also a member of the Knights of Lithuania, Council 26. Adella was an accomplished seamstress who also enjoyed embroidery and hand arts sharing the products of her talents with her family. She enjoyed traveling and also coming home to her gardens where she grew vegetables and flowers.
The funeral will be held on Monday, November 27, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:00 am in St. Casimir’s Church, 41 Providence St., Worcester. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Sunday, November 26, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. The Knights of Lithuania, Council 26 members will perform their ritual at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Casimir’s Church, 41 Providence St., Worcester, MA 01604.
