WEBSTER – Catherine M. “Kitty” Mahan, 90, of 9 Ash Street, died Thursday, Nov. 23, in UMass Memorial Health Care, Worcester, after an illness.
She leaves 3 nephews, Michael Mahan of Webster, Neal Mahan of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Stephen Koziak of Longboat Key, FL. Her brother Joseph Mahan and her sister Helen Koziak died before her.
She was born in Webster, a daughter of Joseph M. and Catherine F. (Tobin) Mahan, and was a lifelong resident.
Miss Mahan worked for the American Telephone & Telegraph Company for 44 years, first as an operator and then as a supervisor, retiring in 1979. She was a member of St. Louis Church.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 10:30 AM in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1132, Fairfax, VA 22038. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St.
