Salem: Louise (Gagnon) Mallard age 89 of Salem, died Friday, November 17, 2006, at the Salem Hospital, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late E. Leo Mallard.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Leda (Lemelin) Gagnon. For years she worked on the Monopoly game for Parker Brothers in Salem. She retired from Parker Bros. in 1978. Louise was a devoted mother who loved children and for many years was a member of the Franklin Park Assoc. of Salem. She was a member of the Salem Council on Aging and was most fond of doing crafts.
She is survived by her devoted daughter Victoria L. Ricciardiello (Salem State College) and her husband Anthony of Peabody, several nieces and nephews and cousins including her special niece Pearl Mallard of Lynn. Louise is also survived by many dear friends including: Jennifer Dulong of Peabody, Ethel Weston, Diane Robichaud & Annette Gagnon all of Salem.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 9 am from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem followed by her funeral mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, on the Salem / Peabody line at 10 am. Visiting hours: Monday 7 to 9 pm, Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
