Manchester - Jenny A. Lemay died unexpectedly of a medical condition on November 19th, 2006. Jenny was born in Lowell, MA. On May 15th, 1986. She was a cherished daughter of Dolores “Dolly” (Daigle) Lemay and Richard Lemay. Jenny was raised and educated in Manchester, N. H. and went to Highland Goffs Falls School, Southside Middle School, Memorial High School and The Manchester School of Technology. She was a Junior at Becker College studying Architectural Interior Design at the time of her death.
Jenny was an energetic student, athlete, worker and anything she set her mind on. She was a happy young lady with a beautiful smile inside and out. She was an Honor Roll and Dean’s List student all through her year’s in school. Earlier in her life she played for the South Jr. Deb Softball Team, was in the choir, took dance, took gymnastics, played soccer, played the violin, was in the church youth group, was a cheerleader, a Girl Scout, worked on the Memorial School Newspaper Staff, the Outing Club, the senior slide show staff ,played on the High School Volleyball Team, and College Varsity Volleyball and Softball Team. She had been awarded the Coaches Award in Softball, the Outstanding Student Award at Manchester School of Technology in the residential carpentry program, was a Student Ambassador for the Admissions Department of Becker College, worked presently at Pier I Imports and Becker College’s Cafeteria part time
Jenny lived her short life to the fullest. Her saying was, “Life is too short, not to live it.”
She had gone cross country with her family in 2000 and loved to travel. She enjoyed going to Red Sox games with her boyfriend and friends, skiing, shopping, having people she loved around her. Jenny loved to be around children. Her loves were her sister, Jessica, her mom and dad, her boyfriend, Billy and her family and friends. Jenny had a selfless attitude, a good sense of humor, was a caring person who was always there for you. She loved animals and nature. She loved her pets, Consie, Commander Bun-Bun, Ginger, Cooper II and Rocky. She had a strong work ethic and a strong desire to live one day at a time. She inspired all who knew her and she will be missed by all.
Jenny was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ernest G. Daigle. Her family includes her mother, Dolly (Daigle) Lemay, her father, Richard G. Lemay, her sister, Jessica Lemay. Her grandparents include, Mrs. Theresa A. Daigle (Rivard) of Lowell, MA., and Mr. & Mrs. Eugene & Pauline (Coulombe) Lemay of Hampton Beach, N. H. and Seminole, Florida. Her Godparents, Mrs. Jackie (Daigle) Hoey of Dracut, MA. and Mrs. Linda Wojceshonek (Lemay) of Manchester, N. H. Mr. & Mrs. Benny & Linda (Lemay) Wojceshonek, Jr., cousins, Cara Wojceshonek and Brad Wojceshonek, of Manchester,
N. H., Mr. Bill and Jackie (Daigle) Hoey, of Dracut, MA., cousin, Billy Hoey, Jr. and her boyfriend of three years, Bill Holden, Jr. of Manchester, N. H. She leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours are Friday, November 24th, 2006, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at J. N. Boufford and Sons Funeral Home, located at 110 Bridge Street in Manchester, N. H. 03101 (www.bouffordfuneralhome.com). A celebration of Jenny’s life will be held on Saturday, November 26th, at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Elm Street, Manchester, N. H. 03103. She will be entombed at Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.
