Palmina A.”Pal” (Ruzzo) Baldini, 90, of Willow Crossing in Mansfield died on Wednesday November 22, 2006 at the Epoch Senior Health Care Center in Norton. She was the beloved wife of the late Girio P. Baldini to whom she was wed to for 56 at the time of his death on August 8, 1996.
Born in Boston, MA on February 28, 1916 she was a loving daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Caporizzo) Ruzzo.
She was educated in the Hyde Park section of Boston. Mrs. Baldini was a dedicated homemaker to her loving family.
Since living in Mansfield she was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. “Pal” enjoyed reading, sewing and needlework. She especially enjoyed the wonderful times spent with her loving family. She had lived in Mansfield for the past 7 years and was a former 40 year resident of Dedham.
She is survived by her devoted daughters; Joan E. Penta and her husband Robert E. of Foxboro and Diane E. Owens and her husband Kenneth P. of Mansfield. Her dear sister
Gilda Monahan of New Jersey. Her cherished grandchildren David, Michael, William and Steven Penta; Brian, John and Daniel Owens; Jennifer Gesner and Tara George. Her dear great grandchildren Emily, Ryan, Jared, Matthew, Carissa and Kyle Penta; Andrew, Abigal, Duncan and Shaylee Owens; Sopia and Michael George and Ava and Phoebe Gesner. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday November 29th at 8:00 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday November 28th from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
