BEVERLY- Stella H. (Piecewicz) Lee, of Beverly, formerly of Salem, died Wednesday evening, September 25, 2002, in the Beverly Hospital following a short illness. She was the wife of the late Everett S. Lee who passed away this past April.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Maryanna (Sofka) Piecewicz. A resident of Beverly for the past 40 years, Mrs. Lee was a lifelong parishioner of the St John The Baptist Church, Salem and was active in Polish organizations for many years.
Prior to her retirement in the mid 1970's, she was employed at A.C. Lawrence in Peabody for 30 years.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Janice Pierce of Beverly, six grandchildren, Kevin Pierce of Keller, Texas, Kenneth and his wife Carolyn Pierce and Greg Pierce, all of Beverly, Michael Pierce of Tallahassee, Florida, Patricia and her husband Tom Vasseur and Diane and her husband Charles Stephenson, all of Raleigh, North Carolina, 8 Great grandchildren, two sisters, Madeline Bovio and Jane Marquis, both of Beverly and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be Monday at 8 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 am at St John The Baptist Church, Salem. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours are Sunday, 4-7 pm. Burial is in St Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
