Beloved wife of Dr. Donald E. Reed of Quincy, Loving mother of Donald T.of New Mexico, Lawrence P. of Tewksbury, Alice M. of ME, Robert A. of PA and Elva Jane Hazelton of Brockton. Sister of Betty Sylvester of FL. and Emily MacGuigin of NJ. Lovingly survived by 11 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St., Wollaston Saturday at 9 AM.
Funeral will be held at the Eastern Nazarene Church, Wollaston, Saturday at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8 PM.
Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
Elva was educated in Trenton NJ and was a 1950 Graduate of Eastern Nazarene College. Mrs. Reed spent 14 years dedicating her life to the mission field in Beirut, Lebanon and one year in Swaziland, South Africa for the Church of the Nazarene. She then worked at Eastern Nazarene College for twenty three years as a secretary. Elva loved to cook and garden. She also taught Sunday School and had a passion for teaching students. Above all Elva was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
