Brother of Virginia Haviland and her husband Jay of Milton. Cherished grandfather of Devan Sullivan and Robert Vega and uncle of Ned Haviland. Born in Boston, raised in Quincy and a resident of Chelsea for many years, John at 59 years of age, passed away unexpectedly at home last Sunday evening. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, John was a carpenter attached to the cartenters union Local 424.
