Donna M. (Houston) Lavoie, 51, of Nashua NH died Fri. Nov. 17th at So. NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH after a long illness.
Donna grew up and was educated in Salem, NH, graduating from Salem High School in 1973. She graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing and was a practicing LPN for many years. Donna was an active member of the ASPCA, Adopt a Loon, and Adopt a Wolf.
Donna was a published poet and member of the International Library of Poetry and also received the Editors Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in poetry in 2000. Her poem, “Look Around You” can be found within her hardbound book titled “Visions of Paradise”, the International Library of Poetry or on the website poetry.com under her name or poem title.
