Darlene J. Sederquist



Manchester – Darlene Julie Sederquist, 36, died November 16, 2006, at Elliot Hospital following a courageous two year battle against metastatic breast cancer. Darlene was born in Concord, NH on May 7, 1970. She was a cherished daughter of Scott and Sally (Low) Sederquist. She was raised and educated in Suncook and Manchester, NH. She was a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University where she earned her Master's degree in Community Economic Development.



Darlene was the Chief Operating Officer at NeighborWorks Greater Manchester. She was a mentor, leader, and friend to many. She was an energetic member of the Kiwanis Club of Manchester; a United Way Loan Executive; a graduate of Leadership Greater Manchester, a program of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce; a member of Brookside Church; a volunteer at the American Cancer Society; and the top individual fund raiser for the 2006 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Manchester.



Darlene lived her life to the fullest. She travelled extensively around the country and made many trips to the Caribbean including a cruise this September. She also had many other loves including spending time with her nieces and nephews, shopping, watching Patriots and Red Sox games, skiing, and collecting Winnie the Pooh and frog memorabilia.



Darlene had a selfless attitude, great sense of humor and a strong desire to live one day at a time. She inspired all who knew her and she will be missed by all.



Darlene was preceded in death by her father, Scott Sederquist. Her family includes her mother, Sally Sederquist; sister and brother-in-law Kristen and John Libby and their children, Owen and Eve; brother Jeff Sederquist and his fiancée Tammie Leddy and Jeff's children, Megan, Ryan, and Thomas. She leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins.



Calling hours are Monday, November 20th, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at

J.N. Boufford and Son's Funeral Home, located at 110 Bridge Street in Manchester, NH 03101 (www.bouffordfuneralhome.com). A celebration of Darlene's life will be held on Tuesday, November 21st, at 10:00 am at Brookside Congregational Church, 2013 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104. She will be buried at Pine Grove Cemetery following the service.
