FALL RIVER … Lillian L. (Griswold) Clavin, 84, of Highland Ave., died unexpectedly, Thursday, November 16, 2006.
She died at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.
She was born in Attleboro a daughter of the late Arthur I. And Lena (Benway) Griswold and had lived in Fall River since 1970.
She was employed as a Nurse’s Aide at the former Howard’s Complex.
Mrs. Clavin was a member of the 700 Club and enjoyed crocheting and flowering arranging.
Survivors include 3 daughters: Cheryl Clavin-Brown and Dawn Beaudry both of Coventry, Patricia Barry of Fall River, 2 sons: Vaughn Clavin of Warwick and Jon-Paul Clavin of Fall River, 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Jewel Clavin and Wayne Francis Provost. She was the sister of the late Arthur Griswold, Richard Griswold, Ronald Griswold, Anne Duffy and Evelyn Bandilli.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Monday at 12 Noon. Calling hours Monday 10:30 Am – 12 Noon. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
